 New York State requires all new applicants for a Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) permit to complete a mandatory 18-hour firearms safety training. This consists of 16 hours of in-person classroom instruction and 2 hours of live-fire training 

A New York State Notary Public is a state-commissioned official authorized to act as an impartial witness. Their primary duties are to verify the identity of document signers, ensure they are signing willingly, and administer oaths or affirmations to prevent fraud on legal documents. Services include witnessing the signing of important documents, taking affidavits and depositions and giving oaths.
Notary hours are between 10:30am and 6pm. You must provide photo ID.
